It's a conversation, not a form.
Talk to your coach the way you'd text a friend who happens to be a trainer. A photo, a half-sentence, a quick question — it all works, and there's nothing to set up first.
Search a question, or browse what people ask most. The coach lives in a chat — this page is just the orientation.
Three short reads. Each opens the section below — or sends you somewhere we can help directly.

Your height, weight, goals, and the last few weeks of training stay in context. You don't reintroduce yourself every time — each check-in builds on the last.

ZYM is a live AI fitness coach for iPhone and web. You call your coach mid-workout — voice, and camera if you want — and it tells you what to lift, watches the movement, and remembers what you did last time. The difference from most AI fitness apps is that the coaching happens during the set, not after you upload a video.
Yes, there is a permanent free tier with no card required: one live call a day, five minutes a call, and two form checks a day. Paid plans (Core and Plus) add longer and more frequent calls, camera on every call, and more form checks. Paid plans are currently sold in the United States only.
Same intelligence, same memory, same tools — different voice and perspective. ZJ is warm and grounded. Maya is upbeat and consistency-first, and coaches from a woman's perspective. You choose in your profile and can switch at any time; your history follows you either way.
Your phone measures joint angles on the device, and the coach interprets what those show. You get back the key frames, joint positions and bar path, held side by side against your original clip. There is deliberately no score out of ten — the output is what to change on the next set. You can try it free on the web with no account at zym8.com/check.
No. The coach works fine with rough input — a photo, a quick guess, "a big bowl of pasta." Showing up consistently matters far more than precision.
Yes. The coach replies in whatever language you speak or type to it, and switches when you do. English, Spanish, Korean and Chinese are all confirmed working on live calls.
Your stats and history stay tied to your account so the coach can keep context across sessions. The social layer — following, location, sharing — is opt-in and off by default. Coach conversations are retained for a window that depends on your plan, from 90 days on Free to indefinitely on Plus.
